Hi all,

Thanks to all who attended our Table Quiz and Open Night. The table quiz was a fun night out, and we look forward to running it again.

Welcome to new and prospective club members. There's plenty happening with pool training on every Wednesday. We're still happy to do a try-a-dive, just arrange in advance via email.

We're continuing to dive all year round. With the clocks about to change the midweek dives have come to and end, but we're happily diving at the weekend. We're fortunate enough to have a variety of dive sites to choose from and divers eager to go diving.

We were delighted to be invited by BIM to help demonstrate lifejacks and EPIRBs at Seafest'17. The weather was mixed, with sunshine breaking through between the showers. Then again when you're about to be plunged into a tub, a bit of rain doesn't matter much.

This looks a bit like dunking of witches, but all for a good cause

Fresh from trick and treating,  a few Galway scuba aqua club members were interviewed by Normanmedia for piece that will be aired on Digital TV later in the year. Details when we have them.

October 2016 Newsletter

Hi all, 

We continue to dive, as we do all year round, with excellent dives off Boffin, Killary and regular dive sites along the west coast.

Training of new members kicked off following the Open night on 29th September. 

New and pre-existing members meet on Wednesdays for lectures, and pool sessions, putting the theory into practice.

Existing members are also busily completing their pool fitness tests.  With the days growing shorter, it leaves less time for midweek daytime dives, but more opportunities for night dives. 

Welcome to our new club members, and see you all soon!

Open Night 2016

We know some of you may have missed the open night, but don't worry. There is still time.  Email us ( See Contact link) now. Lectures and pool sessions have begun, but you may be able to catch up depending on how soon you join.
